As I stepped through the gates of the Armed Forces Medical College, a familiar rush of excitement travelled through me.

She likes cappuccinos. He likes chai in steel tumblers. She knows hospital corridors. He knows mountain trails. Adrija Pandey has spent her whole life in Dehradun โ surrounded by city chaos and the comfort of knowing every street by heart. Sheโs a doctor, certain her love story will be nothing like the small-town romances her mother keeps hinting at. Agastya Joshi is an Indian Army officer from the quiet hills of Almora โ the kind of man who can fix a roof in the rain, find the sweetest kaafal on the slopes, and loves to sleep under a sky full of stars. Heโs as theth pahadi as they comeโฆ and the last person Adrija expects to be paired with for an arranged marriage. But when two worlds โ lattes and laaltains , collide and sparks fly in the most unexpected ways. Between misunderstandings, stolen glances, family drama, and the unmistakable charm of the mountains, Adrija begins to wonderโฆ Maybe love isnโt about where youโre from. Maybe itโs about where youโre meant to belong. Now, between lattes and laaltains, Adrija must figure out if opposites just clashโฆ or if they fall in love. "You belong in the city, Adrija." "Then why do the mountains feel like homeโฆ when youโre there?" "Soโฆ where do we fit? In your city cafes or my mountain nights?" "Somewhere in between, Agastyaโฆ between lattes and laaltains."
Their first instinct is to argue. Their second instinct is... also to argue. He argues for fun. She argues to win. Raghav Joshi, has spent years living a life everyone applauds. A brilliant Master's student with a future anyone would envy-except it was never the future he wanted. Behind every smile is a boy who'd rather tell stories through a camera than chase someone else's definition of success. Akshita Pandey knows that feeling all too well. Growing up in the shadow of expectations and comparisons, she's mastered the art of pretending she's okay...even when she's forgotten what her own dreams look like. Then they meet. What begins with endless banters, shameless flirting, accidental encounters, and relentless teasing slowly turns into something neither of them sees coming. Because sometimes, the person who changes your life isn't the one who tells you who to become...they're the one who reminds you who you were before the world told you otherwise. Now, somewhere between their banters and butterflies, Raghav and Akshita must decide.... Will they keep living the lives written for them? Or finally find the courage to write one of their own? "You're the human version of a headache." "Aww... and yet I'm clearly on your mind 24/7. That's adorable, baby." "So... what are we?" "Somewhere in between, Akshita... Between Banters and Butterflies."

"They don't trust easily," she murmured, watching them. He glanced at her, his voice barely above a whisper. "Neither do I." It lasted only a moment, but it remained as a quiet exchange between two strangers who understood silence better than words. She didn't know it then, but that was the first time she truly saw a glimpse of him. Rithvik Mehta was once a brilliant veterinary doctor until one irreversible mistake shattered everything he believed about himself. Unable to forgive the past, he left behind the profession he loved and built a life where keeping his distance felt safer than caring again. Sanvi Verma has mastered the art of hiding pain behind gentle smiles. The only soul she lets close is Aaravโthe dog she refuses to leave behind, the last living piece of her love. Like her, he has also forgotten what it feels like to trust. When fate brings them together at an old animal shelter, love is not even the last thing on either of their minds. But sometimes, the loudest stories begin with nothing more than...silent echoes.

She is the boldest. He tries to insult her. She knows how to talk back. "Ab yeh kaun si nayi drama queen hai?" "The girl you just spilled coffee all over."He blinked, finally noticing the giant coffee stain on her white kurti. Oops. He bit back a laugh. "Arre yaar, it's just coffee. Relax. I'm sure you've got a washing machine at home. "Haan, aur mere paas tumhe tapakane se rokne ka patience bhi hai. She said . "Careful, fresher. Tumhe shayad pata nahi main kaun hoon."He Warned her. She crossed her arms, her lips curling into a smirk. "Move." "Excuse me? Did you just-" "I said, move." "Oh, I'm sorry, your highness, but last I checked, yeh footpath tumhare naam pe nahi hai." "Footpath? Yeh mera shortcut hai. And you're standing right in the way." "Shortcut? Tumhare ego ka bhi shortcut hai kya, jo har baat pe itna inflated hai?" "Wow, full attitude, huh? Freshers aaj kal kaafi daring ho gaye hain." "Attitude nahi, confidence. Tumhare jaise logon ko samajh aane mein thoda waqt lagta hai." "Haan? Aur tumhe samajhne mein kitna time lagega ki main yahan ka-" "King? Oh please, get in line. Tumhare jaise 'kings' ko main roz handle karti hoon." "Handle? Tum mereko handle karogi?" "Haan, ek baar tu hatega, toh dekh lena kaise karte hain. But for now, you're blocking my way." "You really think you can just-" "I don't think. I know. Ab side ho, ya tumhari ego ke saath main tumhe bhi utha ke hata doon?" ".......Are you serious?" "Dead serious " "Tumhari akal agar thikane nhi lagayi na toh mera naam bhi................nhi ๐ฅ
